Please check:
  • Is pump set installed according to SIHI recommendation?
  • Is the tank filled with LPG?
  • Is the electric connection motor, dry running protection etc. finished?
  • Is the discharge side (pump outlet) free connected to consumer or tank etc..
  • Is motor/pump shaft alignment after installation checked?
  • Check the rotation. Anti clockwise for CEH pumps, ( seen from motor side! ) Clockwise for UEH pumps, ( seen from motor side! )
  • The pump must be filled with liquid. Open a valve after discharge flange. Gas is blowing out, after a time liquid will come, close the valve again. All air has to be blowed out to avoid a explosion risk with oxidant during first start.
  • Before starting the pump check outlet valve. To avoid motor overload:
CEHA need to be started with full oper discharge valve, UEA need to be started with throttled outlet valve.
  • Start the pump. If liquid doesn’t arrive in the pump after 30 sec the dry running protection has to stop. It’s anything wrong. ( it’s not allowed more than 45 sec for dry running time otherwise the pump cane be damage.
  • Check whether the pump is operating the right performance range (performance curve).
