The following general terms and conditions of use govern the access to and use of SIHI Pumps Asia Web Pages in terms of both the product information and the selection contained therein. SIHI Pumps Asia reserves the right to make changes to these conditions of use at any time without prior notice and with immediate effect.

0.1 Web Pages: All web (i.e. Internet) pages published by SIHI Pumps Asia which are made accessible after entry of a User ID and personal Password on the log-on web page. In combination these Web Pages are referred to as the Web Store / Extranet.
0.2 Pages Administrator: The SIHI Pumps Asia department which is responsible for supporting the Web Pages.
0.3 User ID and Password: Unique combination of identifiers issued by SIHI Pumps Asia or an authorised registrar to a User to identify him or her. A User may elect to change his or her personal Password.
0.4 User: a User is any person that logs on by entering a valid User ID and Password regardless of whether he or she makes use of the product information and/or the selection and purchase options.
1. Scope
1.1 The Terms of Use define the User's obligations, restrictions and liabilities when visiting the Web Store / Extranet and set forth the limitation of liabilities of SIHI Pumps Asia.
1.2 By logging on with a valid User ID and Password a User agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions of use.
1.3 These terms and conditions are additional to and do not replace any other terms of conditions agreed between the User, the User’s employer and SIHI Pumps Asia.
2. Authorization and Registration
2.1 Access to the Web Store / Extranet is subject to a registration process which includes the issue to the user of a User ID and Password and may include a separate written agreement. Expiration or termination of any agreement or agreements relating to use of this Web Store / Extranet does not relieve the User of their on-going obligations and liabilities included in these terms and conditions.
2.2 For the purpose of registration, the User must provide up to date, accurate and complete information as prompted by the registration form and must update this information forthwith as and when changes occur in the information provided.
2.3 SIHI Pumps Asia reserves the right to reject, restrict at any time, or cancel a registration with or without prior notice.
2.4 The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the User ID and Password and for guarding them properly against access by third parties, as well as against misuse and loss. The User shall immediately inform the Pages Administrator if he or she discovers that unauthorized persons have obtained knowledge about the User ID and/or the Password or if he or she suspects improper use thereof.
2.5 The User shall be liable to SIHI Pumps Asia for all damages and shall indemnify and hold SIHI Pumps Asia harmless from and against all third party claims resulting from (i) breach of the User's aforementioned obligations, and (ii) any actions of the User when visiting the Web Store / Extranet. These include but are not limited to input of obscene or defamatory statements, misrepresentation or actions that break established trade sanctions or export controls or avoid applicable taxes or duties or other charges.
2.6 Where a User has been granted the rights or has the ability to register other users then he must ensure that anyone registered by him shall be advised of and formally agree to these and any other prevailing terms and conditions that apply to the use of the Web Store / Extranet. Failure to do so shall mean that the User making the registration shall be responsible for the actions of the user that he has registered as if that user was the User himself.
3. Web Pages Contents, Warranty and Liability
3.1. The Web Pages and its contents shall not constitute a binding offer to enter into a contract.They are exclusively an invitation to the User to place a firm purchase order with SIHI Pumps Asia. SIHI Pumps Asia shall be under no obligation to accept the purchase order.
3.2 The product information and other details on the Web Pages are provided "as is". No warranty, express or implied, is made regarding the currency, accuracy, and completeness of the information, or its fitness for a particular purpose.
3.3 SIHI Pumps Asia reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any aspect of the WebPages, its contents and its functions at any time and without prior notice, provided this does not restrict the performance of SIHI Pumps Asia under the Web Pages access agreement.
3.4 SIHI Pumps Asia uses industry-standard security measures in order to ensure that the Web Pages, the server via which the Web Pages can be accessed, and other related systems are free from viruses. No warranty is made for absence of contamination by viruses.
3.5 Use of the Web Pages shall be the User's sole responsibility. In no event shall SIHI Pumps Asia be liable for any damages on whatever legal grounds, including but not limited to consequential damages such as lost profit, loss of information or data, and business interruption.
3.6 These Web Pages may contain hypertext links to web sites wholly or partly operated or controlled by third parties. SIHI Pumps Asia accepts no responsibility or liability for the contents of these sites
4. Privacy
Personal identifiable data about the User shall only be requested, processed or used to the extent permitted by law. See for further information the privacy statement.
5. Copyright
5.1 These Web Pages and its contents, in particular their structure, layout, design, organization, functions, information, data, text, and screen materials, are subject to copyright of SIHI Pumps Asia and / or of its suppliers. The User does not acquire any rights by using these Web pages.
5.2 The User shall be authorized to use specific contents of the Web pages for his or her business purposes and in particular to download and copy these contents, provided that the copyright of SIHI Pumps Asia or, as the case may be, of its suppliers is properly indicated on such copies. The User shall, however, use the Web Pages and its contents for his or her own corporate purposes only and shall not place them at the disposal of third parties. The User shall treat all contents as confidential, leave existing copyright information intact, and use designations and domain names of SIHI Pumps Asia or of its suppliers only with the prior written consent of the Pages Administrator.
6. Applicable Law, Place of Jurisdiction
6.1 All disputes arising in connection with the use of the Web Pages shall be finally settled under the rules of conciliation and arbitration of the international chamber of commerce by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said rules, supplemented as necessary by the procedural rules of the laws of Singapore.
6.2 The use of the Web Pages and these Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore.
