SIHI provides drop in replacements for Shin Nippon Machinery Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps & Compressors.
Since 1993 Japan based Shin Nippon Machinery manufactured under license from Sterling SIHI GmbH in Germany – a member of the Sterling Fluid Systems Group – SIHI liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors under the brand name SNM (e.g. SLPH, SLEM, SKPH).
1st September 2008 Shin Nippon Machinery officially announced that all SNM liquid ring vacuum products will be discontinued with immediate effect. All SNM products delivered from 1993 – YTD can be replaced by SIHI products except for the product range SMD. This includes replacement pumps, compressors, ejectors and spare parts.

This follows the official announcement from Shin Nippon Machinery Co Ltd that their production of LRV pumps ceased as of 1st September 2008.
